Shooting Star (aka Star) is a lovely 3 yr old Thbd/Percheron mare. Star’s conformation shows the best of both breeds, with her being on the lighter side due to the majority of her breeding being Thbd. She is fit and sound, used to living out 24/7 in a mixed herd and is an easy keeper. Star just turned 3 in Feb 09 and is ready to be backed. She is a very gentle and loving personality who is very bonded to people and very willing. She is curious and investigative in new situations and has shown great spunk and stamina despite her gentleness. Very level headed and quiet for a 3 year old, she will make an excellent partner for someone wanting to start their own horse. If not sold she will be started in summer 2009. Star is halter and manner trained, stands well in cross-ties, farriers well, is UTD on all shots and worming. Permanent homes only please, no dealers or ‘project flippers’ as we’d like to see Star go to good forever home.
